THE NEW MOON LETTER

Once a Month, on the New Moon

Reflections on Jyotiṣa, Ayurveda, and the healing arts, plus first word on classes and new offerings.

In Jyotiṣa, the new moon is born at the close of amāvāsyā, “to dwell together,” the lunar day when the Sun and Moon merge as one. It is a pause: everything is complete, and something new is about to begin. A natural moment to write.

The Moon’s light exists because of the relationship between the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth. We, as receivers of this light, bear witness to our own transformation over time, with these celestial guides lighting the way. Each month I’ll share a note on the sky, a reflection from my practice, and news of classes and offerings in Fort Wayne and online. Short, seasonal, and only once a month.
